Spring is the most perfect time for a pre-wedding shoot, not only is everything in bloom and the sun starts to shine brighter but there’s a feeling of new beginnings in the air.
Jamie and Marie have chosen the stunning Houghton Lodge Gardens to get married this year, a beautiful venue in Stockbridge that promises to be an amazing backdrop for their wedding photos.
We were very lucky for this shoot to be surrounded by an amazing array of tulips, bluebells, apple blossom, May blossom and everything in between – I’m really looking forward to seeing how the landscape will change for this lovely couple’s wedding and of course seeing them in all their finery!
If you’re thinking about your plans for a photographer for your forthcoming wedding, I’ve always been a great believer in making sure there’s time for a pre-wedding shoot. Allowing the couple to start to feel comfortable in front of the camera, to get to know me better, to bounce ideas of what images they’d like (and wouldn’t like) for their big day is vital for making sure they get exactly what they dream of – especially when it’s an album they and their families will cherish for life.
Wishing Jamie and Marie all the very best in the run up to their big day 🙂
