A lot of focus is often put on the wedding day photos, how much you’ll treasure those for years to come but there’s a little something extra special in the pre-wedding shoot too! I offer these as it helps the couple get used to having a camera pointed at them, sparks ideas for set ups on the actual day but really it’s to capture that bubbling excitement that lays ahead for the future.
It’s easy to get lost in the build up for a wedding, to be consumed with the guest list, the flower arranging, the menu and all those other things that take so much time to organise. When the couple get to have a few hours just letting the fact they are getting married soon and going to spend the rest of their lives together, it makes all the other admin type tasks seem much more manageable!
I headed over to Gosport to shoot Tom and Caroline ahead of their wedding day, we went to Fort Brockhurst and ended up with some cracking shoots that definitely capture the aforementioned excitement! The light was just dreamy, that summer sunshine that is impossible to recreate, it highlighted the love these two clearly have for each other.
I don’t have any worries when it comes to them being naturals in front of the camera on the day – practically pros!
Very much looking forward to seeing these guys get hitched.
