I have to start the story of this day at the end, because I left this wedding properly buzzing, it was such a happy day! People must have had some seriously achy cheeks because the smiles where beaming from start to finish!
Tom and Caroline chose the amazing venue Southend Barns for their wedding and it’s easy to see why they picked it. The Dairy Barn for the ceremony is seriously stylish and the drama of the oak beamed Threshing Barn for the wedding breakfast is just stunning. You can find out more about the venue here – https://southendbarns.co.uk
When I arrived to start the ‘getting ready’ shots that are always important to remember after the haze of the day subsides, I couldn’t miss the excitement that was bubbling in the air. Capturing these moments is a real honour as usually it’s only the very nearest and dearest that get to see the mother of the bride’s pride as she sees her daughter getting ready or the nerve settling jokes exchanged between the groomsmen – all little things the wedding party notices on the day but can so easily be forgotten in the whirlwind experience that is your wedding day! I think you’ll agree when you look at the images below, Tom & Caroline will be able to cherish each minute of their day when they look back at these in years to come!
Tom’s face as he turned to see Caroline walk down the aisle was awesome, I don’t think his smile could have gotten any wider, it was a ceremony bursting with happiness! We headed outside for the group shot and the bride and groom photos as the setting was far too beautiful not to take advantage of and I think we captured some absolute crackers.
You’ll see from the wedding breakfast shots how awesome the barn was at acting as backdrop and it was a great place for everyone to let their hair down at the end of the day and have a really good dance!
I wish the happy couple all the very best in the world and every happiness they wish for in the future – thank you for letting me be part of your day!
