On a lovely summer’s day this year I headed off to a wedding in the heart of the historic city of Winchester. I was delighted that Lee and Charlotte picked me to photograph their happy day and I enjoyed every second of it!
The stars of the show (sorry, Lee and Charlotte) had to be one little bridesmaid and one little page boy, an absolutely adorable pair who were clearly born to be in front of a camera! Having children in the bridal party is such a special thing to capture, the wonder in their eyes as they see the beautiful bride and all their family together is just brilliant, a sight to be looked back on in years to come and a lump in the throat every time no doubt!
The garden at this venue made the perfect backdrop for some of the photographs – the groom and best man looked dapper in the sunshine as they nervously awaited Charlotte’s arrival and some lovely shots of the newlyweds after the ‘I dos’.
The ceremony took place in a lovely garden room which offered up some gorgeous light, really helping to show off the happy atmosphere in the room. Then came the confetti shot! Oh it’s an oldie but a goodie! Sometimes this idea gets scuppered by the weather but the luck was on our side for Charlotte and Lee’s day and the image came out perfectly.
I really enjoyed this wedding, it had such an awesome vibe about it and hopefully I captured that in the images below!
